Abandoned apartment

Hey

I have started on my first big project, I want to build a abandoned apartment.

So the first model I want to model is the sofa.
Im thinking using Ndo for most of the details, but for some I want to use zbrush.

So what do you guys think of my sofa so far?

I'd recommend gathering as much reference as you can before sculpting. Your sculpt looks a little doughy.

Okay, I will make the blockout

Maybe I just use Ndo to make all the nice details

Im not that good at zbrush

There's only so much you can do in nDo. It's best used for smaller details such as panel insets and material overlays. Zbrush would be used to sculpt the larger forms and folds/creases.

Don't give up with Zbrush

Okay, I´ve started a small project in this project

I want to make good folds and creases, so now I started all over again with my sofa and once again I tried zbrush and this is what I could come up with and once again I ask you guys for some good feedback

Plan ahead, start with the big picture and define something you know you'll have the time and motivation to finish.

Like others have said, you need to get a blockout done for the entire 'abandoned apartment' before cracking on with any kind of detailed props etc.

Okay, but like I said it is my first scene im about to make.

So for the blockout, should I use 3ds max? and should I blockout the entire scene? and what after I finished the blockout?

Block it all out in max using primitives or modular sections. When the scale is correct and the composition is good, then model each asset. It'll save time to see where you can reuse assets, use modular pieces and you might want to change a few things. your concept / moodboard / blockout here to get more feedback and interest in your work.
