Hey PC. I'm relatively knew to 3ds Max. I'm used to working in Maya and subd modelling for my high-poly work. I'm trying to get adjusted to 3ds Max and I keep coming upon an issue where when I turbo smooth my edges aren't averaging out, they are staying sharp. Hopefully this picture will help clarify what I mean. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas to why this is happening?
Please Help!!!
Thanks!

@Bartalon: I checked the crease settings for those edges and they are all at 0
@Wozner: Verts are all connected. I just reset the xform and still had the same issue.
I had applied a turbo smooth to the same object a few steps back and didn't have the issue. I deleted the turbosmooth stack and continued to work on the mesh. Could that have caused this issue?
I also encountered them when using the Cut tool, or in the middle edges when applying Symmetry or when capping a border - seems like some creases are added or just don't update.
@huffer: I managed to fix it by moving the mesh to a new file. I believe that changed it to an editable mesh and then I'm used to working in editable poly so I ended up using your fix unintentionally :P
@Wozner: If you're still interested in checking out the file here you go

You can then collapse it as well, this will turn the Editable Poly into a Editable Mesh but you can convert it to Editable Poly again with a Edit Poly modifier.
Modifier madness, hehe :P
