Zbrush mask subtool sculpt?

Hi

i got a problem whit zbrush, it mask my sculpt that i created at the sub-tool level but if isolate the sub-tool it shows the sculpt i am not sure why it is doing this... i was thinking its because they dont have the same level of division but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Sorry I don't understand what exactly is your problem... Maybe it is me ( sorry in that case ) but maybe you could explain more in detail.

Based on what I can see from your visibility settings and subtool arrangement, this is standard behavior for ZBrush. Can you be more specific with what you are trying to achieve? Are you trying to hide what you have masked?

sorry i wasn't clearer i am trying to see all my sculpt from my sub-tool un-masked in the viewport at the same time

click the eye icon on your selected sub-btool, that will unhide all your subtools

Thanks johnny but my problem is when i unhide all my subtool the sculpt i done on some subtool are now masked for some reasons... thats the problem.

They're likely not masked; you can only edit one subtool at a time. Inactive subtools are dimmed by a value controlled by Preferences: Edit: Inactive Subtool Dimming in order to make the active subtool stand out more. Polypaint also overrides this value and shows the subtools at their full color. If you shift+click the little paintbrush icon next to the subtool name, it will turn on polypaint for every subtool.

I can never remember which way around the colour picker works in zbrush, mines custom. but is black your active colour? This would give the apperance of all subtools being masked I guess....press the V key to swap between the two displayed colours
