Hey polycounters, friend challenged me to finish an ogre in a weeks time @.@ or as far as i can get in a week that is

any and all critiques and comments are welcome =D

will probably update daily... i only have 5 days left anyways... O.o

Nice start, I think he's a bit too lean for a warcraft Ogre, he's more like a Gronn now (omg wow nerd alert!)

Warcraft Ogre's tend to bit rounder, add a few more happy meals in there.

this was the original concept art, so i guess im making a gron... not an ogre? O.o

ive been having trouble texturing the metal, if anyone can give any advice on how to make wow looking metal, as well as critiques, it would be much appreciated =D

not where i wanted this piece to be but its a good study for hand painting!! man i always liked handpainting but now i have such a deeper respect for it...

I feel like the skin is too flat, I think it needs some scars, spots, freckles, all that good skin stuff.

yea good point adrian
prob need to add more color variation as well...veins and etc...
but not sure if i will continue to work on this or begin another stylized character
learned a lot from this first hand painting experience so hopefully next one will be a lot better XD
