where did my item go?

Hello.
i am new to the workshop and i tried my hand at a phantom lancer spear. the thing is... i did the model, i did the textures (although i don`t think i made them well), and the game succesfully compiled the item in-game... but when i want to see the preview, it`s invisible....
any ideeas?
ill upload what i`ve done shortly.
the image is my item(textured and a bit moved to the front) and the rest of the model when i import the fbx.

working in 3dmax btw...
i aplied a skin modifier and linked the item to the bone, after i somehow aligned it with the default spear.
oh and i can see the item if i tweak a bit with the butons from the model viewer in-game, but it`s a diferent scale, and no texture version..
can you guide me a bit on what is should do?
i would be gratefull
