so,

I have a pretty decent pc (im strapped for cash everyday so I make do with what I got)
Im going to have a bit of spear cash soon and really want to get a graphics card (currently using on board)
I can go to maybe £250. .uk.
I have a Asus F1A55-MLE motherboard and already 8 GB of RAM
any idea?

what is your current pc spec exactly? what graphics card do you already have? do you use an SSD?

Your power supply with also dictate what card you can use. So a full spec would help as gir pointed out.

Any GTX 660 Ti OC, 670, 760 or 770 would be a good choice. there are plenty of models with different prices.

I have a 650watt power supply. I have no graphics :( the on board is a AMD A4 3400 HD redeon, but i believe this would be my processor really? I'm not massively computer literate.

is there a link if possible, I wouldn't know where would be besy to look :)

buy an SSD, it'll give you the biggest upgrade of anything else. and you can use it in your new computer in a couple of years when this one really is falling behind. at the moment, there's nothing wrong with what you've got.

any suggestions. I dont know much about hard drives either, I guess I'm kinda worried about buying something incompatible with my hardware. I guess more space could use same budget.

ah buuuuuuuuuuuut. my current system is not currently capable of duel screen. I find this quite limiting. so would just grabbing the cheapest PCI-E graphics card be your advice? along with a SSD?
