VG REMIX - Half Life Deathmatch

I'm gonna remake probably the most recognizable Half Life Deathmatch map, Crossfire. I don't have any content yet, but I'll try to update this frequently. My ultimate goal is to include a handful of popular player models and most of the best weapons throughout some of the Half Life Deathmatch games, from Opposing force to HL2 DM.

Pretty much all of these textures are placeholders but at least I'm getting somewhere.

I'd love to get some CC on this missile. I'm trying to convey that the rocket is in this moment impacting the ground, and the head is crushing like a can as energy shoots out of it, a fraction of a second before the explosion which will wipe out all of the players in the map. (which I have yet to model). Something like this: http://www.wired.com/news/images/full/warhead3_f.jpg
The fire textures are placeholders, I think they look pretty bad right now.

I really need to start cranking this out. I just finished the geometry for one of the player models, the robo:

I learned alot during this, especially about hand modelling, which i found pretty difficult.

The robot looks good! But I think you need more contrast between the different colors. Right now the colors blend a little too much and when you zoom out it looks flat. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the crit! I'll try and up the contrast, I could probably work on making the texture with cleaner pixels as well, as of now it looks like it's smeared in marinara sauce.
