Thanks everyone! Yeah, I love so many versions of both of these games, but I'm going to narrow my inspiration down to the ones that impacted me the most: the N64 versions!

Now for some WIP action. The color shot is really basic color-block in it'll get better I swear hahah.

Thanks, yeah as of now he's at 478 tris, but I might just make a few more cuts for more efficient UVs.

If you need to save some more polys you could paint the bandanna (red thing around neck) instead of using geo. Doesn't really add anything to the silhouette does it?

GAAAAAAA!!! Thanks Lazerus, it'd be much worse to find out after 3 weeks that my concept is invalid. Oh well back to the drawing board... Would it be misleading to continue posting in this thread after a theme change? Should I make a new thread?

You may want to get confirmation on this to see what the limit is. I saw that Adam commented on this thread as well which is a little bit of crossover and he didn't say it would be disqualified. I know that not saying that isn't necessarily approval, but it may be worth checking.

I think Doran's thread is TMNT in the style of Animal Crossing. I got the impression that choosing one game, and another style was ok, just not mixing up two games. So you could do Bomberman in the style of Harvest Moon, just not a Bomberman harvesting moons ;P

Thanks A3sthesia, yeah I agree I can still do this and it will still be awesome, just not exactly like I had thought originally. I'll get you guys some real work tomorrow today was spent getting my bearings and switching gears on this whole style vs. mash up bit. :P
