I am having real problems with geting nice face topology from zremesher. I am trying to retopo an upper torso/arms/head. the body comes out fine but the face looks pretty bad even with guides.
anyone got a good setup for guides re faces to get nice results?

actually using the polypaint option really does help a lot. Its a very subtle way of controlling the density

I will post some later today. yeah i tell you what would be even better, if zremesher could merge geometry and turn it in to something with a nice flow:)
like for example a vest on top of a torso

I decided to post a few images. It's a bit random but these are my kind of tests I have been messing around with.
I didn't think i would have to have so many curves to get the results I was after.
If I just do curves at the eyes mouth and nose , its pretty messy looking
I am fairly pleased with the end result though. I will post some more settingns when I hit on that sweet spot:)
I found that adding curves on the fingers helped shape the fimger ends as without them they had weird diagnol flows at the finger tips

Great tutorial! I was curious, did you use the painting option to enforce higher/lower density?
