Hey there! This is my first post so I thought I'd introduce myself first. My name is Brent and I'm a student studying 3D Animation and Graphic Design on the East Coast of Australia. My passions have always been on the creative side, and since I was 11 years old (now 24 as of tomorrow!) I have played around in 3ds Max creating models to a basic standard. A few weeks ago I made a lantern to test my abilities on something a bit more advanced and my result follows. I was incredibly happy with the final product so I decided to start on my dream model, a full exterior of the house from the hit television series 'Charmed' as I feel up to the challenge. A First work in progress shot follows. Please feel free to give me some feedback as I am always intrigued with people's thoughts and opinions and I look to further my skills in 3D. Cheers, Brent.

Hey there! Sorry about the lack of updates, I have been extremely busy with college, but I'm going to start updating at least once every 48 hours :-) To start off I thought I'd show you a reference of the house that I'm using as well as the section I'm working on at the moment, which is the lower front window. You seem to be missing the curved supports for the eaves over the windows. This shot may clarify them:

Hey there, another quick update of where I'm up to. I've finished most of the front windows. Thanks for the comments so far! (To DWalker, the curved supports I think your talking about are in the previous shot I believe, just the camera angle used doesn't really show them, so I did a lower shot like in the photo you provided). Enjoy! (Can't wait to texture this!)

Very cool, this is shaping up nicely. I always love to see projects like these. How much of this is modular? Are you just using one a few different trims? I'd like to see the texture sheet so far!
