Hey everyone I am a 9th quarter student attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Here I'll mostly post 2d/Digital Art with some 3d thrown into the mix. Here is some of my work, I have recently been doing silhouette drawings but I enjoy trying to dabble in all sorts of other art to. Thanks for taking a look and if you have any comments or feedback I would be glad to hear them.
This is a my marker rendition of Yujiro Hanma from an anime called "Baki the Grappler".
In my drawing class around 2nd quarter, we had do various still lifes and one of the objects was a paper bag.
This was an assignment for my 2nd quarter Fundametals of Design class. We had to take a word and create an abstract piece that correlated with the word. The word I chose was "Brain". Our treacher always wanted us to do studies of the drawing before the actual bigger and finalized piece.This was my study.
This was the final piece of "Brain". Each drawing in the piece was particular to a certain thought process of the Brain. The pencil and sketchpad had to deal with the artistic aspect, to the right of that had to deal with science thought process, above would be technological and musical thought, to the left of that are memories of the brain some forgotten some contained. At the top middle the books represent reading and becoming knowledgeable, the section with the various faces are the different emotions. These include happiness, anger and sadness. The last at the bottom left is mathematics.

This was my 1st assignment my first quarter in principles of design. We had to create a composition with a maximum of 5 lines.
Line 1: The border connecting with the line running from side to side.
Line 2: The Sphere
Line 3: The Triangle
Line 4: The Trapezoid in perspective.
Line 5: The circle hiding behind the middle line.
This was my first drawing with a wacom tablet which I purchased my 2nd quarter, its called " Elephant and Peaches"

This was a piece I made a while back called" Drifting through Space".
Alot of folks said it reminded them of the Silver Surfer, but I don't see it haha.
This piece is called " Strongest vs. Strongest". In the red is Yujiio Hanma from an anime called Baki the Grappler and in the orange, Goku from DBZ. I thought it would be interesting to match up an egotistical demon against the strongest saiyan.Yujiro usually with an evil grin now has a face of confusion and anger because of this foreign being's ability of instant transmission. I was going for a concept art type of feel with this. If you have any comments/feedback i would be glad to hear it.
This was my final for Color Theory a starwars influenced piece called " Chaos".
I made this stylized piece based off of the musculture of "Baki the Grappler" it is called "Omni"
I created this piece in photoshop. She is a character I made up named Sheila. In this image she is using her sorcery to pull up parts of the earth out of of rage.

This was my character and object final. In this scene a mad scientist rabbit by the name of victor is happily awaiting a deadly chemical reaction. As we anticipate what will happen Victor grins with excitement.
I created this piece in photoshop using the pen tool. I call it The Blue Room

In this picture I have turned my sister into a vampire, as part of her birthday card, by using some concept art techniques. I had a lot of fun with this one.

This was part of my Final Group Project I created for Intro To Psychology. We were advertising bananas and we decided to create ads that were opposite of each other, or at least the main concept was different to see how the crowd would react depending on the look of the ad. So I chose to create a darker approach to the ad by having a zombie eating a banana and himself being revitalized by it. In essence bringing him back to life. The blue aura represents life being put back into him to make him human.
I have recently been working with silouettes and have found it to be a lot of fun.This is a concept car i made in regards to my low poly modeling class.
Here is another vehicle concept I made. I particularly like this one better. It is a swamp transport vehicle which carries, people, equipment, etc.

Here are all of the weapons that I made laid out onto the see through glass table. The theme was anime swords, Kenpachi's sword- Bleach, Tetsusaiga- Inuyasha, Z-Sword- DBZ, Zanbato- Naruto and the last sword is the purple sword( The Chaos Blade) I wasn't basing off of anything i just made it up.

This was a ferrari enzo I modeled for my Low Poly Modeling class.
I was messing around with some materials in 3dsmax, like the thin glass material for the windows and the metallic car paint material for the color of the car.
I decided that the red ferrari was lonely so I made him friends, yellow enzo and blue enzo.

Here is the ferrari enzo finished in a little environment I created, with Diffuse, Normal and Specmap. I used a system in 3dsmax called the daylight system which mimics real world lighting and I found is easier to use for outdoor environments. This would be more toward night time.The trees are 3dsMax trees.
Here it is on the beach. I added water to compliment the beach. Hey guys hope you enjoy and thanks for looking.
The water was done with moving vertices by soft selection and had a water texture applyed.
Another assignment we had for Low Poly Modeling was to model a character.
This is the head of a character named Zack. My idea behind this character is that he is part of a terraforming research group who travel to various planets that have a high probability of being sustainable for life.
Once they arrive on this these planets they will encounters various life forms unlike themselves.
This is a hand painted texture done in photoshop with also spec and normal maps applied.
The initial head was created in ZBrush, decimated then brought over to 3dsmax to be retopoligized.
Once this was accomplished then I baked the normals out of max.
These were the model sheets and textures I used to create his head.
Here is the full character. Since he is traveling to other planets he needed a space suit.
No he's not an alien in a few more photos he will be wearing his helmet.

This piece was created in my 7th Quarter
There once was a small elderly man that lived in a small village in China. He was the lead supplier in many exotic goods from expensive fabrics to rare totems. After a while business became slow and The elderly man had to relocate because he couldn't pay the rent. He relocated in the High mountains of China. Everything was looking up for the Elderly man when he suddenly encountered a Demonic being. Half Buddha Half Centipede. Without hesitation the Elderly Man truned away and tryed to run but it was too late. The demon using his spider like legs stabbed The elderly man and announced his name" I am Chioki Manipulator of Man, and you shall be mine to control". Once said Chioki chops from the pelvis down of the elderly man and penetrates his open wound with his scorpion like tail and uses him as a puppet. Knowing that people will come to The Elderly Man's shop Chioki Hides until its time to feed. This was my final for a Zbrush elective I had my 7th quarter. BPR Render from Zbrush.

This is a project that I worked on during my 4th quarter. We had to create a mechanical object with some form of animation or something together being put together on a conveyor belt. I decided to try my hand at building a mechanical object. I came up with an idea to make a clock that would run on light, solar power at night time and battery power in the day time. I called it "The Light Clock". Inside of the Hands of the clock are mini lightbulbs and the slits in the face of the clock act as opening an where ever the light shines through will be the time.

Hey fellow Polycounters I haven't posted in a while so here is some of the more recent work I have been doing. I started up this series called the
ENL- Series. ENL stands to Eyes,Nose and Lip. Here I have created an ENL of Slyvestor Stallone. This took about 2 hrs, program used photoshop.
ENL-DannyDevito. This took about 2hrs to complete, program used photoshop.
ENL-Winona Ryder. This took roughly 4hrs to complete, program used photoshop.
This piece is titled Whatever It Takes. The inspiration for this piece came from mothers doing anything they can to help their children. In this case the son is turning away from the cold medicine that his mother has spooned out. While shorter the mother won't give up and uses a ladder to compensate.This took about 7hours on and off, program used photoshop.
An alien tribal woman awaits her fate from an unspeakable crime. This took roughly 3hrs, program used photoshop.
