FYI- how to add objects to projection without lag.

Hi,

Maybe you already know it but I figured it out today's morning.

When you add objects to projection (1) It could easily take lots of time because max just calculate sth or just stop working. Dunno.

But when you pick up projection modyficator from the list and use pick\pick list from there (2) objects just jump on the list without any lag. I'm a bit shocked, yesterday I lost about 30 min. on adding objects to the list...

    Yeah, that kind of bugs me too. We're better off picking the projection modifier from the list and then adding things manually. I tend to isolate objects into layers, since it's easier that way. When you pick the modifier from the RTT menu it tries to auto-fit the cage and auto-crash max (sometimes).

    I also think they ought to make using a mesh as a cage a lot easier than the way they have it now.

    Mind = blown. I have always added the projection modifier from the RTT dialog. This is awesome. Thanks for the tip!
