Anti-Aliasing Issues

Hey guys, Im having some issues with my normal maps giving me these errors below. Im using xnormal and handplane to generate the normals. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Do you have padding and 4x AA turned on in Xnormal?

Yea padding is set to 12 and 4x is turned on at 2048

Hmm, weird. Can you show a closeup of that section of the normal map... both before Handplane, and after?

IIRC, Handplane wants to be fed an object-space normal map, not a tangent-space one. But I haven't been following it.

In your case, the bottom map has more aliasing than the top map. If you're using the tool correctly, you should submit this to them as a bug.

The bottom image is the one Ive been getting out of handplane, not the obj spc normal.

But the top map is a tangent-space map. Is that what you loaded in Handplane? You should use an object-space (or world-space) normal map instead.

The map you have labelled above as "Before" is not an object-space map. Can you post the map you loaded into Handlplane?

Yes, maybe the uv layout has something to do with it xD

No sorry, I re-uvd after the original pics so the uvs arent the problem, I can post the re-uvd normal from both xnormal and handplane though
