So I am thinking of starting a website to showcase some art, maybe video tutorials etc but am not a web designer or programmer. I have found some free website templates but nothing I like yet. Have any of you made a website for your artwork using templates? Any suggestions where to find some that cater more to the artist vs....well anything else?

I'd don't like to get married to an idea. Try out some things and see if what you like. I've built a few simple site, and find every now and then I'll change it up a little. You may find some templates and your art don't compliment each other.
