So, this is my first time really attempting a TF2 style, so all critiques and advice are welcome. Me and my friend are creating a custom Shadow Moses TF2 map and he needed a Metal Gear. Well......here she is! Still a WIP.

Yeah, I was a dumb dumb and didn't read the entire paragraph about attachments and pictures lol....yeah a few people got pretty excited when they heard Metal Gear Solid with Team Fortress 2. It's supposed to be covering the last point in a CP map. Once it's done, it should have a collision box so you can use it for cover, jump on it, etc.

Not sure if 10,000 tri's was a little high for a main prop for TF2 though..

The main reason for the high tricount in CS:GO, is because they don't use normal maps on their weapons, for whatever reason.

10k is about the highest tri count for a weapon in tf2. As long as you were to build lods, there would be no issue with putting that in a tf2 map.

You can host an image from your dropbox, so if you don't use them I recommend them for cloud storage.

Sweet model. I've often thought a full MGS mod of TF2 would work really well.

nice work jurai! how close are you gonna be able to get to this? any chance you could shave a few polies off those teeny tiny cylinders underneath the hood?

Yeah, LOD's might be the way to go. I had a friend who has put stuff in TF2 more than once, and he said it wouldn't be a problem seeing as how people's machines are a lot stronger now than they were when TF2 came out. Even still, no sense in making peoples computer chug for no reason.
