Hello everyone! For the last 6 weeks I've been the only artist for an indie game that I'm working on with 1 other guy. I figured since we are getting closer to the kickstarter launch I would share some of the art.

Random rotation of grass, otherwise it just looks odd.

Even worse... If you are going to use alpha tested surfaces don't for the love of god use a black background on the texture. Match it up to the pixel. Otherwise, you will have ugly looking shit like those trees there.

might be the edge detection that youre seeing on the trees. I really dont like those trees and Im going to most likely redo them when I get around to it. We just needed something fast. yes, the next step for the grass is to make them planes instead of billboards. thanks guys

haha just peeped the base building vid on your site, and this looks really awsome tbh ^_^ (would be cool to make a little sky base on some tall buildings, interconnect them with little walkways

)

And a really nice amount of work so far for just the two of you, hope you can get more videos out soon, p keen on this now
