Half-Life 2 "mini" scene (image-heavy)

Hey guys! I decided to make a "mini" Half-Life 2 scene to improve my texture skills.

Loving this project. Brings back some nice memories of Half - Life .
I can't really criticize your work. The depth of field.. or the blur surrounding the crab and the mine on the first image is a bit confusing to my eyes, but other than than that it's looking good.
Is this the final piece?

I have plans to make a full HL2 based environment in UDK. This scene was just a test and I'm calling it done.
I guess there is too much chromatic aberration in the scene so it makes a lot more "blurrier" and confusing for the eyes
Get some more low-opacity details into the normal map, that could work.
A detail normal map might do the trick as well.
