How will you spend your xmas break?

Well, those of you who get time off at xmas anyway...

I've been trying to learn to draw better for the last month or so, so my goal is to jam hard over the holiday next week and end up with something decent to show at the end. I'll move on to something new in Jan, but I want to finish my drawing boot camp with a bang.

Oh, and playing Dishonored.

How about you guys? Any art related plans for the break?

Relaxing!!! Oddly enough relaxing for me means opening up zbrush and sculpting something or maybe grabbing an old project and messing around with it to see what I could have done better. I'm also going to do some research and try to figure out if it's worth it to go to GDC this year with the shape the industry is in currently... But most of all I'm going to spend some time with my wife.

Actually have twelve days off for the first time in god-knows-when. Aside from the ridiculous shenanigans I'm sure to get into, looking forward to finally getting a new work desk at home and messing with this online comic that my brother and I have been working on.

Head home for Christmas to spend time with my family, and since I only have my tablet with me, not much I can do there. Most likely not going to have much time anyway, visiting people and festivities.

And eat a lot of GOOD food! Ahh Danish food, how I missed your quality check.

And most likely going to have to watch my nephews playing Minecraft, which I'm planing to give them as presents, they love that game.

Yeah, there were quite a few layoffs in November. I'm alright though, I'm contracting for Epic via Pitbull these days, so it all worked out nicely enough. I just lost all my holiday days, which was a shitter!

Don't get a real break but I do have a 4 day weekend coming up this weekend so I'll be using that to unwind, play Dishonored and Resistance 3, and spending a solid 2-3 days working on a personal project I've been struggling to find the energy to work on consistently.
