Retopping - To Emphasise or Not to Emphasise....

Hi guys,

Im a newbie so i know i've posted alot on here recently!

I'm currently retopping my character and wondering whether I should move my verts to match some of the sculpt more clearly. i.e. creases...

would I keep the topology neat and tidy or emphasise the creases further

It really depends on what kind of polycount you are shooting for, but for the best looking results you should get some geometry around the large folds that will change the silhouette. A good example is this character in the polycount showcase, http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=74780.
