Hey guys

Working on a space station at the moment & looking to put it into UDK as a portfolio piece. Close to finishing the model & UVs but some feedback would be appreciated.

It's difficult to critique this without knowing it's purpose. Judging by the complete model, I'm assuming this is supposed to be a background piece?

If it's supposed to be a "hero asset" then it looks pretty decent. What reference are you working from and where are you planning on taking the texture?

I've been working off several references from "Mass Effect", "Eve Online" and artists such as "James Clyne", but I haven't created my own concept for this piece. Not sure on the textures yet but I made a mood board to give an idea of what I'm aiming for.

Here is a scene setup I did in Vue to see what the final outcome might look like. Still need to texture and animate the space station as well as import everything into Cryengine. For the texture I am thinking light grey with blue lights.
