Well I think its about time I get some more character work in my portfolio. Here is the concept, its the brute character from Bioshock. Just blocking out the mesh now. Updates coming soon

What are you talking about? It shows that you can translate a concept into 3d.

I'm going to go ahead and respectfully disagree with SuperFranky. Most 3D artist portfolios I have seen so far base their model on a previously existing concept, mainly because it's not the 3D artists job to design the characters. If he can make this concept art into 3D and make it look better than it does in the actual game, then I say go for it :P

But yah the problem with doing a concept for a videogame character that already exists is that you have to make it look better than it does in the game, which Graze can pull off I'm pretty sure.

I think Id squish the nose in and up a bit more, and push the jaw out. Just my opinion though

Thanks alot guys

Everything here is just placeholder, i just face the rough proportions down (probably will change as i work through it)

Here is a small update before i hit the sack, just blocking out the pants. Nearer the end I will add the weist belt and ankle ends, i find it easier to work that way
