We had to come up with a Dota Character with a strict 3000 poly limit.

I think unless you're really pressed for time, it'd be worth holding back on the texturing for the moment and nailing the modelling. You've got some interesting things going on with the face and feet in your concept which you should be able to detail easily within a 3k budget if you're efficient.

It's not entirely clear what the hands represent - are they blades or wings? In either case, I think they need to be developed further.

As Danpaz3d suggested, it'd be worth posting up some wires and a couple more angles so we can get a better idea of what you've got there currently.

i'm currently on 2600 poly's. I could probably work on the wire frame some more. The "hands" are a combination of both blades and wings, she is able to fly and kind of slice through objects with them. I'll post up some wire frames definitely.

Wireframes' not too bad. I'd probably reduce some around the symmetry line and make those ear things a plane with an alpha map.

You need to work on your presentation for these things dude. Its really hard to see the wireframe. Bigger picture, do a straight on view. not over the top kinda thing.
