I thought I'd post my demo reel here for critiques! I would love to hear some feedback so that maybe I could improve my technique for future projects .
It looks nice and I like the breakdowns although they do reveal an excessive number of polygons in some of those assets. Was this meant to be game res or just "look cool"?
WarrenMarshall: It says film school in beginning so i'm guessing that's for film. And for the reel it looks really good one thing is tho that i don't know if the leaves stay on the ivy when its winter i think they might fall off like on trees?
WarrenMarshall : yyyyeah... I might have forgotten to unsmooth the geo for wireframe sake on certain things.. lol Yeah. It's for film, but I had a background in game development. For some reason, I'm still too used to modeling most things without smoothing.
S_ource: I think they might fall off too. I made it a tad bit more scarce, but I should have probably tried to find a way to make it look good without leaves.. hrmm
