Hi guys, I've started trying to learn Zbrush today with a few tutorials but I think my hand just went rogue and pressed something because the lighting's just changed on my mesh and I can't seem to work out how to fix it. I've closed and re-opned Zbrush, dragged a new material on, changed tool etc.

Thanks for any help.

Edit: looks like I was saving the document not the file so It was bringing it back in in 2.5d!

Are you saving as a Ztool or Zproject? If it's a Ztool then it will not save changes to the scene etc so reopening should fix it if it were an added light or changed material or some such. The other possibility is you've moved the colour slider on the left hand side. Move it back to the correct colour. Also if you go Preferences > Initialise that will restart Zbrush without having to close it.

It's also possible but unlikely you've applied polypaint to the model, if under the tool palette you open Polypaint and it's activated (button orange) turn it off. Turn RGB off up the top (Next to Zadd / Zsub buttons) on your brush if you don't want to be polypainting.
