I decided to make a little game for the iPhone in 48 hours. I'm currently at hour 9 and here is what I have so far.

I have finished the environment though it still needs a few tweaks. As well as this I have finished modelling and unwrapping the character. Now on texturing which I have just started

Probably should mention its going be a little top down shooter. You play a Royal Marine who is undercover as a mail man with the task of killing the zombie hordes that roam the streets at night =P

Clean and friendly, I like it. How high do you intend the camera to be? The rooftops look like they could do with a little detail, but that would depend on the camera height.

Yeh your right I need more on the rooftops. I will add some vents and other bits and bobs. Not really sure what to put on them apart from that though =P. the camera will be a cross between picture one and two. High with a slight angle

Hour 10 though closer to hour 11 =P. Finished the character just need to rig skin and animate.

Modelled, Textured, Rigged and imported the weapon. Really quick little texture. Not that great a quality but it will be so small on screen it wont matter = P

thanks guys. Its just a fun little challenge I set myself. I'm doing the whole game =D. But for coding I'm doing the game in Kismet. Using the same techniques in my tutorial series

Obviously the zombie menace is still unknown to the general population. That's why the agents are undercover. Who would suspect the postman? The zombies only come out at night when its most ominous (these zombies have a good sense of Pathetic fallacy).

Sounds like a game jam. I dig the cartoony look you've got going; the environment especially looks nice and clean, but if it were me I'd saturate the green of the grass a little more

Yeh its kind of like a games jam but I have such a mad work schedule I just fit it in when I have free time =P

16 - 17 hours in and here is what I have so far. =P The rig goes a bit funny in preview mode but when I test it on a device it looks fine.

I feel like the hedges do not mesh well with the rest of the environment-they look a bit more realistic and less cartoony than everthing else. I think it is awesome so far though. Are you still working on this?

Alex - okay I will style them up a bit more thanks for the critique and yes I am still working on this. Well I say work I mean I'm still trying to find time to work on this =P
