(newbie) Beretta m9 WIP

Hey!
I'll start from introducing myself shortly.
I started my adventures with "3d" by making some models for Secon Life few years ago (based on "sculptmaps"). I've been working with "real" poly modeling since october 2011, when Second Life started supporting mesh import. Since that time, I decided to go with my hobby outside of that virtual environment and I learned a bit about normal, specular and diffuse maps. I'm still a beginner but lately I got happy with some results of my work. I'm aware it's not perfect. But I still got time to improve. So far it's my second mesh model, first textured with use of diffuse normal and spec maps (still practising), as previously I only applied ready materials.

software I use- Luxology modo and Photoshop.

I wish I could make such art as some of you guys here one day!
