Max viewport problem

Anyone have any ideas why im getting dark colours and dithering in the max view-port... looks fine in the render. Really annoying me

looks like your viewport is in 16bit mode. you want to play around with the colour settings in 3ds max, if that doesn't help it could be your videocard settings.

Figured it out... it was the "gamma and LUT" settings needed turned off.. had problems with that setting before i should have known, Cheers anyhow mate!
