Sculptris Auto-Tessellation turns off?

I was going to just do a bust of Ganondorf on my lunch breaks, then I thought what the hell and I want to do the whole figure now. However, when I pull down the geometry to bring in the body, I'm getting massive polygons that aren't tessellating as it should. Is there a setting or something that I missed that turns that off?

Also, while I'm at it, is there a way to redistribute polygons throughout the model evenly?

    Whelp, this is embarrassing, but for those that don't know, it's the Q button that toggles it on and off. It's right there, right beside the Brush box, in my screen you can see that I have it turned to 0 meaning it won't divide.

    As for my second question, is there a way to redistribute polygons throughout the model evenly?

    What I do to redistribute polygons more evenly is to use the "Reduce Selected" button, using smoothing and whatnot you can also add more polies to different areas. When I need things to be more even I just "Reduce Selected" and continue working.
