Help with modeling

Hey guys. I want to start to model something on my own.but i have no idea how to start. I am only modeling while watching tutorials, but when it's time to model something on my own, i am blocked, and stare at the pictures like idiot. Any idea?

Just pop in your favorite game and look at the environments/character/weapons and find something you like. Model something from your house/apartment, hell anything will do.

Whenever I need some inspiration I go to the WAYWO thread, there's some incredible stuff in there. It's all about taking something you see, such as a piece of concept art or any other inspirational image you find online, in a book, whatever, and making it your own, and showing off your creativity.

Make a start and when you hit a roadblock, post what you have in the pimping and previews section so that people can help you with your specific problems.

What kind of concept art should i start for? I am not still good in anatomy, so will start learn anatomy this summer. from scott eaton. I want to model something Hard surface.

What are you trying to model exactly? Organic? Hard-surface? or something in between?

If you have access to ZBrush, it would be good to start there. Push some shapes around in that and see if it sparks anything, you can go from there.

Well, anything, just not characters yet. Something simply, just to skill my modeling. Zbrush? Yea i brought zbrush 2 months ago, but i haven't start learn? Should i ? Isn't good first to learn 3d application first?
