  Not to discourage you, but there are a few people doing something very similar. That's not to say you shouldn't, though. They might not finish, yours could turn out better, it could still make a good portfolio piece, etc.
  
  At any rate, I think your proportions are a touch off. The handle should be quite a bit longer.

  oh of course , i m still just working on the top part, so haven't got to the handle yet. btw, like to see those similar posts, don't wanna create sth exactly like other peoples'. Also I incorrectly named my post title, is there a way to change it?

  Regardless you should just open every thread and look at your competition
  
  I'm doing a semi-crystal weapon but there's another guy who is doing exactly the same as yours only the crystal is redish pink.
