Figured I start on my second weapon. The Axe is not yet abandoned, though.

The overall looks suitably chunky, but the spines and rings that they're attached to might work a little better if they were equally heavy. I'd probably reduce their number and then bulk everything up with the extra space you've made.

Yeah, you're right. Beefed the spikes up a bit.

Looks allot better now. Although I would add some more variety in radius of those spiked cylinders (not spikes, only the metal base). Make theme wider compared to this long cylinder below all of spiked cylinders (oh damn I complicated this to much

), also I think that 3 spike rows will be enough, now the hitting part is to long in my opinion.

Worked a bit on the mace. Reduced the number of spikes again and tweaked the proportions. Also I started skullpting.

The light gray elements would be stone, the darker gray would be metal and the black stuff is something else...

Thinking about making the skull metal instead of bone...not sure what I do with the pommel...

I think this could use more colour in general. Take the damage up a lot, these weapons are supposed to be ancient. Also, don't be afraid to break up the straight lines a bit.

Today I redid the textures more or less completely in an attempt to make it fit the look of the game better...I suck at the hand-painted style...
