how to make non square UV ?

  umm, when I tried to save the UV snapshot with 2048X1024 , the UVs were stretched and not as expected. I checked with all the 3 UV Range options also.. Did I missed something ?

  I can really recommend the plug-in UVDeluxe for Maya, it's got great scaling tools (and a lot of other useful features as well) that's very helpful. Should be available on creativecrash.
