Saving gloss map into Specular map?

Hey guys I am trying save my gloss map into specular map inside photoshop, So I can use my gloss map inside Marmoset toolbag. I know how to just save a normal alpha like if I was going to make a transparency map. But I have no clue on how to save an image into the alpha, any help would be very much appreciated!

press the create new channel button, activate the channel and paste your map in there
then save it out as a 32bit tga
