If its a wow weapon your poly count is very high. Looks nice though.

Looking good so far. I think you should model in the little notches or whatever they're called on the blade. You've model in the detail for everywhere else I can see. I think the blade is one of the most important parts of the piece. In comparison, you've modeled in the grooves for the handle, and that's a part that would be covered up some by a character's hand and not as important.

i don't know what those grey circle splotches are on the blade. was the axe used as a shield from gunfire?

The axe blades are very blocky compared to everything else. More polies!

yes a mage accidentally opened a portal to the starcraft universe and some space marines got into azeroth... no I was just playing with some different brushes in photoshop and at the time it looked good, but ya it does kind of look like bullet damage now that you mention it.
