Yeah the head looks a bit small for wearing a mask I'd say. Kinda depends on what style you're going for, it looks quite realistic to me though.

Those 2 spheres on his chest, id say you should make those indent in and then run tubes to his helmet :P

Hips are getting kinda narrow. Compared to his uppper body mass and lower, it's making him look off. Good stuff so far tho!

Nice details so far. You should look into the proportions of your character though, at the moment the arms are too big and so are the feet which make it look a bit cartoony. His waist is too narrow too as Alberto has already mentioned. The wrinkles on his pants need some more love as well, use some photo references.

Awesome guys thanks for the feedback! I was trying to figure out why he looked so goofy but had been staring at it too long. Really want to nail down the proportions before doing anything else. Pants are still a major WIP unfortunately. I can spend a whole day on them and not be any further than when I started. Folds are tough!

If you are going for a Gears of War feeling I think you nailed it. The body armor looks like is fits in the Gears universe. Keep it up man it is coming along great.

Thanks! I'm really trying to push this one. Went a different direction with the pants going for more stylized folds. Here's a back view of my progress. Starting to think the forearm armor is a bit bland compared to the rest.
