yeah, I found that, the site I'm looking for would generate similar fractals along a path you drew instead of having to script it.

I feel like alchemy might have a brush that does what you're looking for, depending on what exactly you intend to use this to make.

nah, it was a drawing app running on a webpage, I believe it was flash - you drew a stroke and it generated fractal fire along the stroke, looked pretty much like the stuff Apophysis generated

It sounded really neat so I spent like 3 hours looking for it earlier, it doesn't look fractal based, so that must be why it was so hard to find. (I was wondering how in the world a flash/java program could create such seemingly cool looking, complex fractals off of mouse movements...)

This is still a really neat little flame sketchy thing! Thanks for posting it. Looks like the guy's got some other neat stuff as well.

Fractals are cool shit. Don't know much about how it was made, but this is some kind of fractal demo-scene real-time render. This has some post and render effects added. (Do not watch unless sober due to visual enlightenment).
