Damn that sucks, I really liked that texture you had going. Reminded me of Deus Ex.
Looks like you're using milkshape, does it make a backup of your files like wings3D does?

If you're using Windows 7 try the "Previous Versions" feature.

Milkshape has lots of built in quake 3 stuff I would think.

Not really. Milkshapes' one of the worst tools you could possibly use for Q3. Tags for example have to be triangles, and animating is a joke especially when you deal with lower/upper pieces in separate files that makes doing death sequences (which require both to be animated in unison) an extreme hassle.

um, its not really that bad leilei, i can animate it all in one file, export uses a .qc (like lower.qc for making lower.md3) so i can export just the legs from the same model and then the upper body etc.. milkshape is a good tool and i like using tris for tags. animating isn't really all that hard.

Heh, sad to say it, but I still use Milkshape for some of my lowpoly stuff, later to slap it into Blender for UVM / Texturing.

That texture was going nicely, let's hope that you can recover your model.
