dual monitor color calibration

hey everyone. ive had 2 separate monitors for quite some time, and ive noticed that one of them is a bit more blue than the other. (ex: polycount background on my main monitor is a dark grey, but on the secondary is a medium grey/blue).
both monitors are from HP, but different ones which i guess is why the colors appear different, im just wondering if there is any sort of program or something i can use to calibrate the colors between the monitors and match them up.

there are also devices that do pretty much the same in a more accurate manner

Thats still no garauntee though. The only way really is to get one of those colour calibrater things, they are quite expensive though.
Or you just stick with the one monitor that you know is mostly right.

It has a specific workflow for multiple monitors and has DDC control if your monitor supports it to do all adjustments within the program instead of manual menu clicking. Works beautifully to calibrate my laptop to my 2nd monitor.
lol. no, ive used pictures spread across both monitors and tried to get it as close as possible to match, but some colors are still off.. mainly my blues. when i had used what is now my secondary monitor as my main (showing more blues than anything else), i had assumed it was correct. now with my new monitor it shows those blues as greys. so ill assume that is correct (thats the colors i get on my laptop and iphone). but yeah, ill see if my school has a colorimeter that i can borrow.
The test pattern is a demonstration of the colour range and brightness of an image. You can use that to calibrate a monitor.
But the colorimeter would be the easiest way. However it depends on what your monitors allow to be adjusted. The more better your monitor the easier it is to adjust individual channels and achieve stable colour calibration.
