Here is a few Marmoset renders of a WW2 grenade that I modeled a while ago just never got round to posting. Its supposed to be a first person model.

Hey thanks Cap seen some of your stuff, I hope to be that good by this time next year. I forgot to post the 3rd person view as well.
The stats are 666 tris (lol) and 512 maps.

looks good man! I would change the way you display how many textures you have. For a second I thought you meant you were using 3 UV maps for this thing.

Might just say 1024x1024. Ppl will assume you are using 3 maps when they see them all :P

Oh and I feel like you went a bit too crazy on the Depth of Field. Should be something that is subtle if at all.

Might just be my opinion but I think you could go twice as low on the third person mesh and the current one you have now would be a fitting first person. For a portfolio renders it's fine though. Great job on the texture as well! Solid piece

Thanks for all the crits guys. I know I went a bit over the top with the post in marmoset, but its so much fun.
I like the way that I displayed the textures, but it does look noob-ish. So South paw do you mean use the third person as the first and half the polycount on the current third person model to make a new third person, ok I'll get on that after and send over.

yeah lol, was trying to make it a bit more interesting, but it make no sense unless the guy using it was just scathing in the total number of kills. but i bit nuts if he was doing that on his grenade, must have been a nazi.

Yeah my first thought was "why in the world would you scratch the explosive part of the nade!?" whether it's funny or not - which it is - you may want to reconsider just to show that you can realize practicality, I'm not sure though I'd wait for other opinions on this.

Were these ever used to just bash people with? I figured if you smacked someone with it then it would explode, and the reason they were shaped like that was just for ease of tossing. Either way if you can kill people without it exploding then I would vote for scratches on the wooden handle.
