cool helmet, but i dont really seem like your re imagining the character.
the gun arm is cool but it still looks mostly like the original. its seem like your doing a cyber merc or something? not really sure, but id try and push the armor out more from the original design and change up the suit more. maybe bigger tubes?

looking at what you have so far, i feel liek the helmet shape and bladecape could make for a cool gatchman style character
