This leaves a really open slate because the original is fucking ugly. but if you boil it down to just castle on a hill that leaves a tooon of sweet ideas open.

yeah the original game was so bad looking, but i didn't care when i was a kid, i played this over and over in the arcades just to cut peoples limbs off.

Seriously though great choice, Castle with some awesome looking ground and trees. Very open for you to come up with something interesting.

This is a tough time for me, but I'm still going to try and finish this. I'm pulling a lot of OT right now in my last 2 weeks at work before my contract ends. I'm also working on portfolio pieces and doing art tests on top of this comp. It's super stressful right now. I'll try to get a decent concept up before weeks end.

My general idea is to create more of a darker, gothic style castle, maybe partially destroyed. The setting will be mid-winter and possibly at night. Still not entirely sure on the details.
