Any way to force photoshop to never save icc profiles with images?

I hate it when I forget to turn off icc in the save menu for psd and jpg images. Is there a global settings where I can disable this, the setting keeps coming back every time I close photoshop.

Edit => Colour Settings => change the RGB working space to Monitor RGB

I'm not sure if doing so is actually advisable. I've been working like this for a while now and have yet to encounter any issues, but in all honesty I have no idea what kind of impact colour profiles have on art that is not meant to be printed out. Perhaps someone who knows more about it could explain.

TeaandCigarettes is correct. ICC profiles are for synching your colour space with the output colour space of your device.

If your only output is a monitor then they're a waste of time and they'll just cause problems when you view the image in a program without colour correction.

You should also make sure the colour management policies are set to "Off"
