Mini-Environment Medieval Prison Cell

This is for the Eat3D mini environment contest. I am having trouble getting the rock wall of the cell to look decent, and other than lack of experience, I haven't a clue what I am doing wrong. Any advice/crits are extremely welcome.

I am going for a prison cell with the feeling of the small cell from Count of the Monte Christo. It will have two walls removed and the wall above the window removed and have much larger blocks for walls.

Making some progress. I need to sub divide again to get rid of the muddy look and get into the details, but hopefully this is looking more like a stone wall...

I think this pattern is more suited to a floor, how about something more aligned to a grid?

Keep working at that wall, def go down another subdiv and sharpen up those details.

ok, redid the stones to look more grid like, I still need to add more sub divisions to be able sculpt the detail. Hopefully, I am on the right track.

I noticed that my window had somehow grown to the size of my doorway... Let me know if you have suggestions, in the meantime. I am going to start on the door to fill the doorway.

I think I have the sculpt of the door ready for the doorway. I will be working on the adding more details to the wall and get it ready to bake soon. Crits welcome. Thank you
