You may only want crits on your work but your site is also in need of work.

Never have a welcome page. I should be seeing your art right in my face in the first click. Also telling me to click your banner to go home makes me feel like an idiot. It's quite common these days for banners to take a user home so there's no need for this welcome stuff at all.

So I click on gallery and I'm greeted with a blank screen. I had to click on 3D to see 3D related work and so on. Your aim should be to get your art in my face with the least amount of clicks possible.

The car, looks good but texture isn't so good. It's WIP I know but make sure to show both high and low wireframes as well.

    Helicopter, normals look stretched.

Iron, I like it. Too bad it's more CG than games. Looks like you used simple flat colours with some gloss added.

Your street scene is good. Needs to be rendered in-game though like UDK. Needs shaders.

I'm no guns expert but it looks like a gun. Texture is weak though and too cloudy.

Car is awesome but lousy texturing.

Finally, I don't know what you actually want to be? Your work is a mix of 3D, Games Design and Programming. You can't have all three. You have to stick to a role and specialise in it.

At the bottom in TINY words I see "3D & technical artist" so is that what you want to do? Well your resume says "- Become a modeller/texturer for games/visualizations/commercials/beauty renders/simulations..."

At the moment, your work screams CG. You need to display to us viewers in BIG BOLD writing that you want to be either:

    3D Modeller
    Environment Artist
    Programmer

That's all I can think of but research the roles and choose.

Overall I get this graduate student vibe from your portfolio. Apply for jobs anyway despite what I say because I've seen people get interns with average portfolio's but nice personalities. Good luck.

    P.S. Read this: http://www.gdcvault.com/play/1012479/Getting_Noticed__Why_You_Need_an_Online_Portfolio_and_How_to_Make_One

Also look at these portfolio's and match their quality:

P.S.S: I didn't notice your UDK scene. I had seen your 3D work and didn't bother looking too much at the other stuff because you lost my interest. Get what I'm saying? If I get bored, an employer will also be bored so throw that scene to the FRONT of your work as it's one of your strongest pieces and shows you can work in a team.

    Hello sir,

You should have the "Gallery" navigation link default to the 3D section of your portfolio. Right now it just displays a blank page, and you have to select a button in order for it to work right.

Otherwise, good job on the 3D. The UDK scene doesn't look like it was made by you, though. The lighting isn't dramatic enough, and there are some tiling marks on some textures.
Your programming section should also receive more attention. If you are going for a technical artist, I suggest putting together a basic renderer and writing an importer using FBX SDK (it's popular and great for importing.)

    Good luck with your endeavors.

u should get rid of the music section (interest, hobbies) Your work as Habboi said is the most important that needs to shine.

Thank you all for your comments.

I will adjust my site asap.
The reason I have a music section is because I'm teaching guitar, it isn't really something to put on my portfolio, but it was easier to show it to a few people.

Thanks for the comments on my work, it really helps me getting better. When I have an update I'll post it immediately.

P.S. I already have an internship as a 3D modeller, before I had this site actually.

You don't need the updates thing. Toss it, or convert it into a more interesting, more filled blog. Links/music should be tossed too,or put in the blog. I'd get rid of the contact page too - you have the email in your resum

I went through you portfolio. Your models are decent, nothing spectacular. Typically that's not a terrible thing if your textures make up for it. They don't. You need to work on your texturing, working with UV ratio's, and deciding what you want to specifically peruse. Then rework your portfolio for that goal.

I feel like your UDK scene could have potential to be awesome, but the texture seems and uninterrupted repetition along with the flat lighting make it look pretty bad. Fix those two things and it's already a pretty large improvement.

I've renewed my website, with all the comments in mind. My front page now shows my work, so you wont have to do unnecessary clicks. Also the buttons in my menu stay highlighted when clicked. If there's anything else, please tell me!

Finishing my projects is my next step, I now where my flaws are. C&C are still welcome :)

looks better. One thing I would say is maybe redo some of the thumbnails. There kinda hard to figure out what i'm going to be looking at.

Also, I think you have great models, but your texturing needs some work. Also your lighting could look better. In my opinion the Iron looks the most complete.

Thanks for the reply. I know my modelling is better, I'm still working on all of my textures.
The problem is, I'm still in school so everything on my site is either 2-3 years old or unfinished. When I have updates I'll post it emmediately.
If you have any tips on texturing or lighting please do tell me.
