Here is one of my first works with normal maps on zbrush, already as low poly model.
This haves 8526 tris.

Can we see wires? Where are all those tris going? (are you including the base in the polycount?)

Well, as a beginner, this haves the wire problems... too much on the head and less in the body, where needed more...

Yeah, so there is obviously alot of optimization that could be done; but also a redistibution of polys. The shoulders are the worst hit by the problem, theyre missing a fair amount of detail. The head has alot of polys, but it still appears to be fairly low rez in the sillouette. The walking stick could use some more polys too.

You'll know for next time now anyway, It's by no means a bad effort. Well done!
