What is the easiest way to set the pivot on a specific vert in Blender ?. I can set the transformation gismo to the center of the object,but when i move the object it stays why ?
You'll just have to set the cursor to the new location again. If you're talking about object pivot, it's called origin. ctrl+shift+alt+c (+ break your fingers) to set the object's origin to cursor. Or you can use the search function with spacebar and type in "origin".

Then go down to the pivot points section at the bottom and set it to cursor.
