3dsmax triangle count stats from camera view

hi I am wondering if there is a way to stats/view triangle count in 3ds max
based on camera view ( like in maya)
is that possible?

do you mean having it appear in the viewport?

if so you just click on the name of the view port(top left corner of it) and click show stats or something along the lines of that i think

if you are trying to see how many triangles are in the view, not including those outside the camera angle...nah, nothing that I know of can do that in 3dsmax. You'd have to manually hide what doesnt fall under the camera FOV.

A simple workaround is this:

Set this to Total + Selection.

And then select everything in the viewport.

It culls per object and not per polygon, but it should be useful.

I also made a script that attachs the said info to each object and displays it in realtime in the viewport.
