I've been working on this since about when Champions launched, after a quick stint helping with STO's launch.
Not gonna say more than what's said on the page or any game site announcements, cause our marketing guy sits not that far from me and I don't want him chasing me down with a sword! :poly142:

The wording on the 'About' page is terribly vague, though. It's presented like a single-player game, but the mentions of a persistent world and 'thousands' of other players suggest it's more along the lines of an MMO.
Can you maybe clarify for us, flaag?
Please, please, not another MMO.
Also, Cryptic is an MMO studio
And yeah, I know Cryptic make MMO's, but the stuff on the site doesn't strike me as marketing material for a 'typical' MMO - no mention of PvP, content editing tools, continuing the story, bots to form 5-man co-op groups etc.
Seems like a definite departure from 'traditional' MMO's, so let's hope it delivers something new.
hey, looks like it isn't an MMO, woah
It sounds like Cryptic might have learned from Champions and STO but we'll see...
Only having 5 out of 8 classes from the Players Handbook is disappointing. No Paladin (what!?!) , Warlock or Warlord.
bioware never had the rights for it, atari always did, this is why obsidian did the sequel
