Ok, so I'm browsing through my PSP playstation store and I find this show called "The Tester". It's a reality/contest show about Sony picking a tester for their company. Who thought this would be a good idea?
if only they know that all you have to do is network and send your resume out. All this effort for a job that only pays about 30k.

oh wow...now this is the joke of the day.
it has a season 2? oh lord:D!
dont they know that company's hire QA people up by the dozen? at least when I did testing for SCEA for a summer they would hire anyone that had gaming some gaming knowledge and knew how to use a PS2.
they make it seem like some glamor job that is hard to get. they have adds for shit like that posted on craiglist since the turnover/burnout rate is so high.
edit: Why would Sony waste so much money and time, especially for the judges, on one person who they're going to pay only about 30k. The people that are judges have much better things to do then watch a bunch of people yell and scream about how much they kick ass at gaming.
They could've at least hired a bunch of hot models to play video games in bikinis.
it seems they didnt do any actual testing like trying to break game play, testing weapons, stress testing, writing up bug reports and all that jazz (i can see why as that would be boring to watch)
Seems like the finally they chose who the best tester was based off who won some mini games the fastest ROFL so ridiculous.
ohh, epic reply of the day
lol, its enough just look at those guys and on the host in particular "a comedian, a director, an actor..." hmm he's got lots of "skills" then
At least the host looks hot.
its not like it's a documentation
just another fancy looking reality tv show thingy to attract viewers
What viewers?
You mean the 1000 people who probably won't be getting a job in the industry. Ever.
ok, you got me, one guy got a job.
How can you tell?
I can never tell if rolfness is being sarcastic in his posts or being serious.
EDIT: I hope hez being sarcastic as well. :poly122:
