CG collaborating groups/people in Montreal

I am not sure if this is the best group to post this but if it is then moderators please move it to the appropriate place.
I am wondering if there are any sites setup on the net for CG artists to lookup other artists to form a collaborating group to work on a CG project. It does not have to be for a paid job but rather for improving ones skills and getting the right exposure. Projects could be in the form of a game level, a short animation or still images.
I have been looking for sites like these but was not successful. I am looking for people work with in Montreal specifically.
Anyways I just though to ask about that here on PC forums.
